The Club Sports Council (CSC) represents Club Sports and athletes at Oberlin. Club Sports are student-initiated and student-governed activities that offer opportunities for athletes to become directly involved in the leadership and administration of their respective clubs. The CSC is in charge of the supervision of the club sports and actively takes part in Club Sports management.

Jotham Tausig established the Oberlin College Equestrian Team (OCET) in the 1980s. The team has shown exponential growth in the last few years growing from 10 members in 2004 to 41 members in 2007-2008.

The Save A Horse, Ride A Cowboy exco is offered every-other year by members of the Equestrian Team. It teaches horse care and management as well as basic riding skills to interested Oberlin College students.
