The Club Sports Council (CSC) represents Club Sports and athletes at Oberlin. Club Sports are student-initiated and student-governed activities that offer opportunities for athletes to become directly involved in the leadership and administration of their respective clubs. The CSC is in charge of the supervision of the club sports and actively takes part in Club Sports management.
Chartering Committee
The Chartering Committee focuses on the process of becoming and existing as a club at Oberlin. The Chartering Committee exists to help guide students seeking to establish new club sports, help club sport athletes learn the process of remaining a club sports, and providing information about necessary paperwork.
2007 Projects
At the College's request, the Chartering Committee drafted an initial definition of Club Sports. This definition is meant to be uniform across the College's various departments, from Athletics to Student Finance Committee, from Student Life, to the Club Sports themselves.
