The Club Sports Council (CSC) represents Club Sports and athletes at Oberlin. Club Sports are student-initiated and student-governed activities that offer opportunities for athletes to become directly involved in the leadership and administration of their respective clubs. The CSC is in charge of the supervision of the club sports and actively takes part in Club Sports management.
Development Committee
The Development Committee undertakes projects that seek to further the growth and expansion of Club Sports. The Development Committee works closely with the Alumni Office in order to co-ordinate the activities of current club sport athletes and alumni. In addition, the Development Committee works with the Finance Committee in order to raise money to provide for the club sports. The Development Committee is also heading project such as the establishment of a semi-annual newsletter, obtaining fair access to trainers and transportation, and the promotion of club sports at Oberlin.
2007 Projects
The Development Committee had its work cut out for it, as it's main goal was to create not only this Club Sports website, but also the first-ever newsletter to be sent out to all Alumni that had been affiliated with club sports during their time in Oberlin.
