Welcome to the new blogsite for the Oberlin-in-London Program.
I'm David Walker, a professor of English and creative writing at Oberlin, and I write periodically for the college's admissions blogs. This new site, however, is intended especially for students interested in the London Program. I'll be teaching in London in the spring 2012 semester, along with my colleague Marc Blecher from the politics department. We have a terrific group of 25 students signed up to study with us, and we expect that many of them will be blogging about their experiences abroad once we arrive in London in February.
In the meantime, a number of the students will be checking in to introduce themselves and talk about how they got interested in the program. We invite you to follow along, comment, and ask us questions as we count down the months until our departure.
