DAY 6 (Saturday, August 23) Photos and Continue blocking Act One
Posted By Heather Harvey '11

This morning, we had cast photos scheduled before lunch, and in addition to head shots, we also included photos of the family in various stages of their relationship throughout the play. The photos reflected the camaraderie within the family, which did exist at times. However, it also reflects the inevitable confrontation that takes place at separate intervals.

Back at rehearsal, they almost completely finish blocking the first act. The conflict between the boys and Linda was very involved and required much attention, which only became more complex once Willy became involved. These scenes in the first act are so important, because they are the scenes in which Linda reveals the potential consequences of their actions. She frames what appears to be a grudge with issues of life and death.
