October 6th, A guest recital sponsored by the Oberlin Black Musician's Guild will feature Michelle Johnson, soprano.
Tickets required: $3.00 on sale at Central Ticket Services and at the door prior to the concert.

October 8th, Puzzle and Paradox: The Mysterious Disappearance and Exuberant Return of the Countertenor.
Peter Hennen, Associate Professor of Sociology at Ohio State University (Newark) will present to Dr. Julie Keller's sociology class, giving a brief (30 minute) talk on current research. A Q&A will follow the lecture.
This event is sponsored by the Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies & the Department of Sociology at Oberlin, and will take place from 12-1 P.M. in Bibbins 223 at Oberlin Conservatory.
October 11th, A guest master class will be given by Concerto Competition judge Lisa Saffer '82, featuring vocal performance students of Oberlin Conservatory.
