Betsy Bruce
Betsy taught a class called Yarn to Garment, in which students learned to weave and create at least one unique wearable garment from start to finish. Students researched and designed a garment; planned, chose, and purchased the appropriate yarn while considering fiber(s), colors, structure, weight, and yardage. After designing, they learned to weave: dressing and operating a loom. After weaving, they sewed, finished and fitted their garment to model in a fashion show. Photo Credit: Ma'ayan Plaut
