Dance professor Deborah Vogel sponsored a group of eight Obies who spent winter term studying circus arts at the School of Acrobatics and New Circus Arts (SANCA) in Seattle. “We braved rain, wind, and city-stopping flurries to hang upside down, make human pyramids, fly through the air, and generally have a fantastic time,” says sophomore Will Passannante.
