Nusa Penida
Six students have traveled to the island of Nusa Penida, off the coast of Bali. Guided by Oberlin parent Mark Merrett and sponsored by Bonner Center director Beth Blissman, they are staying in a small farming village, participating in and learning about the social and religious life of the traditional Balinese Hindu community, and completing community service projects.
