Professor Ferd Protzman
Professor Protzman selected a group of student-journalists for an intensive journalism workshop, including working in the Washington Post building in Washington D.C. Students met with Oberlin's network of outstanding journalists, government officials, think tank experts, and public relations professionals. During the workshop, the students wrote and edited news and feature stories on deadline. Once complete, their stories were critiqued by their fellow workshop participants, visiting alumni journalists, and Professor Protzman.
